Make Your Course Visible/Students can’t see my course
Get Your MacID and Log In
If you don’t have a macid, contact University Technology Services – this is your first step because you’ll need it to log in.
Already have a MacID? Login to Avenue to Learn here.
Where Is My Course?
If your course doesn’t appear in Avenue to Learn, request it here Before requesting, check with your departmental or faculty admin—they may have already done this for you.
Where Are My Students/TA’s?
Once you have access to your course, your students will appear in the classlist tool. Students are dynamically added and removed in the classlist tool.

Upload Content
Lecture notes, syllabus, contact info, and other materials go in the Content tool. Learn how to upload content here.

Set Up Grades
Start with grade items for a basic gradebook. If you need categories (e.g., dropping the lowest two assignments), contact us for help.

Make Your Course Visible
If students can’t see your course:
- Enter your course.
- Click Course Admin (top right).
- Select Course Offering Information.
- Check Course is active and click Save.
Your course is now active and accessible to students.
